Foxes Park Forest Walk
Enjoy a free stroll through our serene 4km woodland trails, open daily from 9am to 6pm. Rest on benches along the way or soak up the forest’s tranquility. Grab a takeaway tea or coffee from the Woodshed Café (entrance via main reception) and make it a perfect escape into nature!
Deer Park
The Deer Park is a favourite for families and young visitors at Rathwood! Home to the beautiful Sika deer, it’s a chance to get up close and connect with nature.
Make the experience even more special by picking up deer food at reception so the kids can enjoy feeding them. A must-visit on your family day out!

The show lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a brief intermission.
Where is the show located?
The panto takes place in our Forests Big Top Theatre, located at Rathwood on the Wicklow-Carlow border (Eircode: R93 X3F9).
Do you do group or cooperate bookings?
Yes, we do! For bookings of 10 or more people, please contact us at events@rathwood.com.
Is Rathwood or its Restaurant opening late for this event?
The main Rathwood building will close at 6:00 pm, and the restaurant will close at 5:00 pm. If you have a 5:00 pm show booking, we recommend arriving early to enjoy the funfair or visit the restaurant beforehand.
What about infants?
All children aged 3 and over can visit the show with a valid ticket. Babies in arms and infants aged 2 and under are admitted free of charge and without a need to purchase a ticket, as no seat will be allocated.
